Trump likely to dump his red Tesla after ‘break up’ with Elon Musk. It was not a gift

President Donald Trump is planning to get rid of the Tesla that he purchased from Elon Musk in March. It was a token gesture to encourage people to buy Tesla as Tesla shares fell and the Tesla vehicles came under attack from protesters who did not like Elon Musk’s interference in politics. CNN reported that the possibilities are that Trump may give away the car and sell it. It was not meant for his personal use and he bought it for the use of the White House officials. Now that the break-up is complete with both Trump and Musk mudslinging on each other in public, it’s time to return possessions too though the Tesla was not a gift from Musk. Trump at that time said that he did not take any discount. Trump paid around $80,000, the full price, for the Tesla. The Trump-Musk showdown reached its climax Thursday when Trump commented on it publicly and said he was very disappointed that Musk was opposing his Big, Beautiful Bill. Trump claimed that Musk was in the know of every aspect of the bill and he is opposing to it only after he exited the White House. Musk called Trump a ‘liar’ and also said that without him, Trump would not become the president. This led the altercation to a point of no return, with Trump claiming that he asked Elon Musk to leave the administration as he was ‘wearing thin’. Elon Musk refuted it and alleged that Donald Trump is named in the Epstein Files.Trump threatened to terminate Elon Musk’s government contracts to which Elon Musk announced that SpaceX will decommission Dragon spacecraft.
Trump vs Musk: No talks scheduled as of now
While the overall mood in the White House is that the ugly spat can be saved, Donald Trump is not in the mood to speak to Elon Musk now. “I’m not even thinking about Elon. He’s got a problem. The poor guy’s got a problem,” Trump told CNN. “No. I won’t be speaking to him for a while I guess, but I wish him well,” Trump said.
